Brewer of new Lass Ale Finally Unveiled!

The mystery is finally revealed. After 5 years and a few hundred brews, brewer Philip little, will leave the Marble Brewery at the end of May to open a new brewery in Wigan. The brewery will be called ROSEBRIDGE BREWERY and should be operational early in June. The first brews to come out will be a 3.8% golden summer ale and a 4% session bitter. Seasonal's are also planned and the beer will be available either direct from the brewery or via Boggart distribution and other wholesalers. Some of the equipment to be used came from the Lass O'Gowrie Brew pub and Rosebridge have agreed to supply the Lass with beers brewed to the original LOG recipes from the 80's. The Lass O'Gowrie will also hold there launch party, provisionally scheduled for June 19th.

The Lass is pleased to announce that discussions are well underway with an, as yet unnamed independent brewer with the aim of resurrecting LOG 35 and LOG 42 - the legendary ales once brewed on site at the Lass. The intention is that these ales will be brewed to the original recipes and specifications enjoyed by so many for over 15 years at the Lass. Watch this space!
